Leadership Hacks and Finding Normal
May At C-Level
Almost June. The pandemic is in full stride; some places open, others closed up tight. Sometimes masks, sometimes not. Social distancing has become a common part of our vernacular, and apparently (and scarily) hand-washing is a new thing.

Lots going on; some of it high-speed, some of it resembles a sloth. Today, we'll just try to help someā€¦

Let's just jump right into this May edition of At C-Level . Here's what's in store:

  1. Our new video, Coaching in a Crisis. Seemed appropriate for the times...
  2. Our 2020 SSL (Survey of Senior Leadership) is available for your download! Lots of good info, peruse at your leisure.
  3. So, What do we do NOW? And what is this normal you speak of...?
  4. 7 Leadership Hacks I Learned at Home... courtesy of my wife.

More crazy times. Let us know if we can help in any way - we're here for you.
New Video
Don't worry, it's brief. Less than 5 minutes. Less than 5 minutes, and discusses a "Return to Normalcy."
2020 SURVEY OF SENIOR LEADERSHIP (SSL)
Our 2020 Survey of Senior Leadership is complete, and another big thanks to those who participated. Your inputs gave us good insight into what your concerns are as we hurtle towards 2020. Of course, it's PC - meaning "pre-Coronavirus."

Lots of input around leadership development and talent management; AI and Change Management are gaining ground - and likely will continue post-Coronavirus.

96% of you said you would maintain or increase headcount in 2020. We'll see how that plays out in the brave, new, post-PC world.

So, What Do We Do NOW?
-- And what is this "normal" you speak of...?

By D. Kevin Berchelmann

Let us agree these are crazy times. If nothing else, that should transcend political, geographic, or ideological
lines. We are, without a doubt, in crazy times .

But what does that mean. I mean, to those of us in leadership, what does this all mean? Do we do more of the same? Do we need to do things differently? Do we need to poll the masses for the proper course?

What's it all about, Alfie?? Sorry, got a bit carried away there; that movie was even before my time...

7 Leadership Hacks I Learned at Home...
... courtesy of my wife.

By Kevin Ross

Last week was my anniversary. After exactly 1,722 weeks of wedded bliss, I thought it might be time to give my wife some credit for the leadership lessons I've learned from her. No, she's not a leadership guru, a coach, or a high-powered executive in some Fortune 100 company. She is, however, a damn good Physical Therapist who has zero interest in being part of the management morass she's been subject to over the last 34 years.

And, trust me, she knows the difference between good and bad leadership behaviors. I know this because I've heard about every single one.
